G3: HPR Leak

If your marker is leaking from the HPR. Check the items below. Reference the manual as needed.​

Issue:
Leak Location:
  • Before removing the reg from the body of the marker, try to pin-point which area the leak is coming from as this may help. Once disassembled, check the following:

Macro Line & Fitting:
  • Fitting: Check the elbow fitting for debris and remove and clean if needed.

  • Macro Line: Check your macro line for leaks and replace if any are found. Make sure you have a nice clean cut on both ends of the line.

Reg Cap (Top Part):
  • If the leak is coming from the top portion of the reg, try replacing the o-rings on the cap (diagram below). Lube with Dow33 (or other recommended lube).

    • #73 - Reg Cap o-ring (top/small): 13mm ID x 2mm CS

    • #12 - Reg Cap o-ring (top/large): 20.35mm ID x 1.78mm CS

Reg Body (Middle Section):
  • If thy leak is coming from the small hole in the reg body, Inspect the 2 body o-rings and the piston o-rings (especially the smaller one) for damage and replace if needed. Lube o-rings with Dow33. When re-assembling your reg, make sure your shim stack (curved washers) are in the correct order )()()()(

    • #78 - Reg body o-rings: 15.6mm ID x 1.78mm CS (qty. 2)

    • #2 - Piston o-ring (large): 18.77mm ID x 1.78mm CS

    • #75 - Piston o-ring (small): 4.47mm ID x 1.78mm CS

Bottom of the Reg:
  • If the leak is coming from the bottom of the reg, remove the ringlet and then the adjustment screw by turning it counterclockwise. Inspect the adjustment screw o-ring for damage and replace if needed. Lube with Dow33. Use a pair of pliers to reinstall the ringlet if needed. 

    • #82 - Adjustment Screw o-ring: 9.25mm ID x 1.78mm CS
