DP G3: Solenoid Leak

If your marker is leaking from the solenoid, check the items below. Reference the manual as needed.

Issue:
Operating Pressure:
  • Verify that your High Pressure Regulator is set correctly and not over-pressurizing your gun/solenoid. Turn the adjustment screw on the HPR clockwise to Decrease pressure and counterclockwise to Increase pressure. When increasing pressure, do it 1/8th of a turn at a time.

Solenoid Body O-Rings:
  • Separate the body and trigger frame by removing the front and rear trigger frame screws and unplug the eye wires and solenoid from the board. Leave the regulator/macroline/tank attached and air up your marker. If the leak IS coming from the solenoid, this will make it easier to detect. Once confirmed, remove the solenoid and inspect the solenoid to body o-rings for damage and replace if needed. Lube with Dow33 before reinstalling.

    • #23 - Solenoid Body O-Rings: 2mm ID x 1mm CS (x2)

Solenoid Piston O-Rings:
  • If the above doesn't resolve the leak, remove the piston from the solenoid (red side) and inspect the piston o-rings for damage and replace if needed. Wipe it clean and lube with Dow33 before reinstalling.

    • #31 Solenoid Piston O-Rings: 2mm ID x 1mm CS (x4)
