2K5: Maintenance

Three digit numbers (example 011) indicate o-ring sizes. Hashtag (#) indicates ID/number from the manual

Overview:
Recommended Lube:
  • Dow55: Specifically designed for use with O-rings & causes them to swell to assist in maintaining a better seal. This can be used throughout your marker (do not use on your bolt). Will require more frequent maintenance.

  • Dow33: Can be used on everything except the Ram Sleeve o-rings& your bolt. Increases time required between maintenance intervals.

  • Tri-Flow Oil: This is the only thing you should use on your bolt o-rings. One drop rubbed in will be plenty.

Between Games:
  • Clean your barrel

  • Remove the bolt and inspect the o-rings for damage and replace if needed. Put a drop of Tri-Flow oil (or other recommended oil) on your finger and rub it on your bolt o-rings.

    • #53 - Bolt:

      • #18 - Bolt o-rings:  015 (qty: 4)

  • Remove the bolt and inspect the o-rings for damage and replace if needed. Put a drop of Tri-Flow oil (or other recommended oil) on your finger and rub it on your bolt o-rings.

  • Wipe down the outside of your marker

After 1-2 Cases of Paint:
After 2-4 Cases of Paint:
  • Repeat the items above.

    • Bolt o-rings:  015 (qty: 3)

  • With the bolt out, remove the ram cap and ram from the rear of the marker.

    • Note: The ram cap is located below the bolt. Use a small allen key to push the ram out from the top if you have any problems removing it.

  • Inspect the o-rings on the ram and ram cap for damage and replace if needed. Wipe down the ram to remove any dirt or lube and apply a small amount of Dow55 to the o-rings.

    • #65 - Ram:

      • #6 - Ram Rear o-ring (large - towards ram cap):  011

      • #66 - Ram Rear Bumper o-ring (small - towards ram cap):  006 (Teflon)

    • #67 - Ram Cap:

      • #6 - Ram Cap o-rings:  011

  • Repeat the items above.​​

  • Disassemble your High Pressure Regulator (aka HPR or 360 Inline reg) and inspect the piston o-ring for damage and replace if needed. Lube with Dow55.

    • #22 - HPR Piston:

      • #21 - HPR Piston o-ring:  113

After 10 Cases of Paint (1 month):
After 20 Cases of Paint (1 month):
  • Repeat the items above.

  • Disassemble your Low Pressure Regulator (aka LPR) and inspect the piston o-ring for damage and replace if needed. Lube with Dow55.

    • #5 - LPR Piston:

      • #6 - LPR Piston o-ring:  011

  • Remove the poppet and inspect the cup seal portion for any nicks or damage that would cause it not to seal correctly. Replace if damaged. Next, check the poppet shaft o-ring and replace if needed. Lube with Dow55. 

    • Note: The cup seal is the white delrin portion of the poppet shaft that connects to the spring and looks like a plug.
