2K5: Velocity Issue

Marker has inconsistent velocity or your nat able to adjust the . Check the items below and reference the manual as needed. 

Issue:
Inconsistent Velocity:
  • Dwell: Dwell is set to low. Check your dwell and try resetting back to the factory default of 8ms

  • LPR Pressure: Verify that your LPR is set between 70-80psi. Adjust if needed.

  • Paint: Check that you have a good paint to barrel match and that you are using quality paintballs.

  • HPR: Disassemble your HPR and lube the piston o-ring. While you have it taken apart, inspect the other o-rings for nicks/damage and replace if needed. Lube with Dow55 

    • #22 - HPR Piston:

      • #21 - HPR Piston o-ring:  113

  • Ram: With the bolt out, remove the Ram Cap and the Ram. Inspect the rear Ram o-ring for damage and replace if needed. Lube with a small amount of Dow55. Do not lubricate the Ram itself. 

    • #65 - Ram:

      • #64 - Ram Front o-ring:  006

      • #6 - Ram Rear o-ring (large - towards ram cap):  011

      • #66 - Ram Rear Bumper o-ring (small - towards ram cap):  006 (Teflon)

    • #67 - Ram Cap:

      • #6 - Ram Cap o-rings:  011

  • LPR: Remove and disassemble your LPR and inspect the items below:

  • Note: If the gauge on the ASA block is reading any pressure at all with the adjustment screw turned all the way out, the LPR base o-ring or regulator seat are more than likely bad.  

    • Square Cut o-ring: Remove your LPR and inspect the large "Square Cut/base" (outer most, towards the block) o-ring (114) for damage and replace if needed. Lube with Dow55. (Reference item #14 in the manual)

    • Regulator Seat: Inspect the regulator seat for damage and replace if necessary.

    • Brass Nut: Inspect the brass nut and tighten as needed. (Reference item #7in the manual)

    • Brass Nut o-ring: Inspect the brass nut o-ring (010) for damage and replace if needed. Lube with Dow55. (Reference item #8 in the manual
