Ego11: Velocity Issue

Marker has inconsistent velocity or you're not able to adjust the pressure. Check the items below. Reference the manual as needed

Issue:
Inconsistent Velocity:
  • Battery: Make sure you start with a brand new battery in your gun as an old one will cause issues

  • Dwell: Check your dwell and try resetting back to the factory default setting of 15.5ms

  • Pressures: Chrono your marker & confirm you're getting a consistent velocity. If not, adjust your LPR & HPR Regs as needed. Alternatively, you can set them to their default.

    • LPR: Start by setting your LPR output pressure to it's factory default setting

      • Using a 1/8 inch hex key, set the LPR adjuster screw to default by turning the adjuster screw outwards (counter-clockwise) until it's flush (in-line) with the front-most part of the LPR cap. Next, turn the adjuster screw 2 full turns inward (clockwise)

    • SL3 Inline Reg (HPR): Using a 1/8 inch hex key, turn the adjuster screw outward (counter-clockwise) to it's max out position. Next, turn the adjuster screw inward (clockwise) 4 1/2 turns

  • Paint: Make sure you're using good quality paintballs & that you have a good paint to barrel match​. Check out the video below for a video example.

Paint to Barrel Match:
Low Inconsistent Velocity:
  • Pressures: Chrono your marker & confirm you're getting a consistent velocity. If not, adjust your LPR & HPR Regs as needed. Alternatively, you can set them to their default, as shown below.

    • LPR: Start by setting your LPR output pressure to it's factory default setting

      • Using a 1/8 inch hex key, set the LPR adjuster screw to default by turning the adjuster screw outwards (counter-clockwise) until it's flush (in-line) with the front-most part of the LPR cap. Next, turn the adjuster screw 2 full turns inward (clockwise)

    • SL3 Inline Reg (HPR): Using a 1/8 inch hex key, turn the adjuster screw outward (counter-clockwise) to it's max out position. Next, turn the adjuster screw inward (clockwise) 4 1/2 turns

  • Solenoid Restrictors: The right-side of the solenoid valve includes two restrictors that control the exhaust flow from the Rammer (Backward - A & Forward - B) that can be accessed & adjusted by removing your grips. Once removed, you'll see them as two separate dials. Try adjusting the setting for the Forward - B (Right) restrictor:

    • Forward - B (Right): 6th or 7th tick mark

High Velocity on 1st Shot:
  • FSD COMP setting: Try increasing the First Shot Drop-Off Compensation Parameter. Default is 5.0ms

  • Regulators: Disassemble, clean, and inspect your LPR & SL3 Inline regs. Pay close attention to the piston o-ring on both regs as well as the internal o-ring that connects with the piston stem. For details on disassembly, check out the Ego11 Maintenance page.

  • Pressures: Chrono your marker & confirm you're getting a consistent velocity. If not, adjust your LPR & HPR Regs as needed. Alternatively, you can set them to their default.

    • LPR: Start by setting your LPR output pressure to it's factory default setting

      • Using a 1/8 inch hex key, set the LPR adjuster screw to default by turning the adjuster screw outwards (counter-clockwise) until it's flush (in-line) with the front-most part of the LPR cap. Next, turn the adjuster screw 2 full turns inward (clockwise)

    • SL3 Inline Reg (HPR): Using a 1/8 inch hex key, turn the adjuster screw outward (counter-clockwise) to it's max out position. Next, turn the adjuster screw inward (clockwise) 4 1/2 turns

  • Dwell: Check your dwell and try resetting back to the factory default setting of 15.5ms

Drop-off when firing Multiple Shots:
  • Battery: Make sure you start with a brand new battery in your gun as an old one will cause issues

  • Air: Check your air tank & confirm it has enough air. If possible, try another tank 

  • SL3 Inline Reg: Disassemble, clean, & lubricate your inline regulator (Eclipse grease only). For details on disassembly, check out the Ego11 Maintenance page.

  • Pressures: Chrono your marker & confirm you're getting a consistent velocity. If not, adjust your LPR & HPR Regs as needed. Alternatively, you can set them to their default, as shown below.

    • LPR: Start by setting your LPR output pressure to it's factory default setting
